(Note: this FAQ only applies to compose offline, submit online variant of SDLT.co.uk)
The software application (both server and workstation) should be installed as a user who is a local administrator of the PC/Server in question. This allows for registry values to be written and dll's to be correctly registered.
In order for a user to run the software they ideally need to be a member of the local administrators or power users group on the workstation PC but if this is not practical due to IT security policies then the users of the software must have "modify" rights to the default install location of the workstation application (c:\program files\sdlt co uk) - we suggest giving "Domain Users" the "modify" right to the "c:\program files\sdlt co uk" folder.
Additionally users of SDLT.co.uk must be able to read/write to the shared location where the central server data (SDLT co uk Server folder) has been located.
